Why Your Washer Won't Drain

Coins, hair ties, socks and lint jam the filter (front-loaders especially). We clear it, inspect the impeller and test flow.
Humming with no draining, or total silence. Burnt-out pump motor or a cracked impeller — replaced same day.
Hose crushed behind the washer or clogged with lint. Also standpipe/house drain blockages we can identify.
The washer refuses to drain or spin if it thinks the lid is open. Faulty switch or lock assembly is a quick replacement.
